Geïnteresseerd in het verzamelen van fotografie?
Rondom de enige fotografiebeurs in Nederland, Unseen Photo Fair, organiseert Foam Editions een Masterclass Fotografie Verzamelen op dinsdag 2 september 2014. Drie experts maken de deelnemers wegwijs in de fotografiewereld en geven tips hoe te beginnen met het verzamelen van fotografie. Ook komen de laatste ontwikkelingen binnen de fotografie en verschillende fotografietechnieken aan bod.

This workshop will provide insight into the various respiratory masks, gloves, lab clothing, solvent combinations and substitutes for solvents so that conservators can protect themselves while working. Much research has been performed in the last years in regards to conservation materials used for framing.
Hinging techniques, finishing techniques, and various frames used for framing traditional and contemporary photographs will be discussed. The adhesives for framing photographs will be examined and materials used for creating positive micro-climates will be scrutinized.

Masterclass Disaster Salvage and Drying of Photograph Collections
Masterclass Ramp Herstellen en Drogen van de Foto Collectie

This 3-day workshop offers practice and theory surrounding water-soaked materials. The effects of disasters such as by water will be investigated and through various practical training sessions, participants will learn how to handle, salvage and dry wet materials.
The various types of drying methods will be discussed and the effects of freezing, freeze-drying and air-drying of photographic materials will be examined. At the end of this workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of the differences between drying paper materials and photograph materials. They will have handled wet and frozen materials and examined dry water-damaged materials that were wet for a variety of days.

Fotopolymeer is zo een nieuwe techniek die de laatste jaren zijn intrede heeft gedaan binnen de diepdruk.
